Your new company
A well established luxury retailer that is rapidly growing and scaling. They currently have 3 branches in Dublin City and are looking to expand further. With that comes the need for this newly created Head of Finance/Senior Financial Controller role to help the business put a growth strategy in place, navigate this high growth period and smoothly run the finance function. This is an SME business and will be a hands-on role, not purely reviewing/strategic position - you will be involved in the day to day finance function also.

This is a fully office based role for at least the first year of being in the business.

Your new role
Reporting to the MD, you will head up the finance function managing 2-3 direct reports. You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts for 3 branches and financial reporting on sales performance and review for 8 different brands on a weekly/monthly basis. A key factor in the smooth operation of the finance function will be the implementation and standardisation of processes and procedures, including review of the current ERP software Sage50.

You will produce the annual budget and carry out financial planning activities.

As the company grows you will assist with finance raising projects, grant applications and cost-saving measures.

This is a sales-driven environment and will involve business partnering with other senior stakeholders in the business eg. Head of Sales, as well as representing the company with luxury multinational manufacturers.

This is a strategic role in which you will will partner with the MD to drive company growth and ensure the finance function is set up to provide accurate and detailed insights into company performance and profitability.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with significant PQE in a similar Finance Leadership role. Expereince in a retail business, sales-driven business and business with multiple branches is highly advantageous for this role. An outgoing confident personality who gels well with their team is ideal for this role, as the company culture is inclusive and social.
