FSPO Complaint Handler **APA Loans & Regulations required** - 12 month contract - Hybrid
Who will you be working for?
You will be working for one of Ireland's largest banks, in either their Dublin city centre office or Limerick office, on a hybrid basis. They provide a full range of personal, business and corporate banking services. In recent years, their business has been restructured with the aim of becoming a customer-focused, profitable and lower risk institution, well positioned to support economic recovery in Ireland while seeking to generate sustainable shareholder returns. Working as a FSPO Complaint Handler, you will be immersed in the technological and progressive culture that exists in the company.
What will you be working on?
When things go wrong for the banks customers, they often let them know by way of complaint. You will be an important part of a team that allows the bank to complete an investigation into the matters raised and endeavour to resolve the complaint for their customer. In cases where the complaint has not been resolved to the customer’s satisfaction, they have the right to refer their complaint to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO). The first stage in this FSPO process is to engage in either informal/formal mediation in a process known as the Dispute Resolution process. In instances where the complaint is not resolved within this Dispute Resolution process, the complaint will escalate to Formal Investigation. You will be joining the Bank’s FSPO team and responsible for the investigation of complaints and drafting responses to the same.What are we looking for?
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must hold an APA in Loans & Regulations. You will be well experienced in dealing high quality work with great attention to detail, be a customer advocate, keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do. Prior experience working with FSPO complaints and dispute resolution is highly sought after, along with excellent customer service, investigation, analytical, influencing and technical skills. Along with this, financial services and banking experience is highly beneficial for this position.What you'll get in return
