Your new organisation specialises in planning, managing and delivering detail-focused, high-quality projects for their clients. They operate across a range of sectors including Commercial, Hospitality, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Data Centres. Through discipline, experience, expertise and quality specialists, they work with their clients, design and project teams to create, restore and develop new space in fine detail. They have several active projects underway and are seeking Finishing Foremen to join their team and assist them in ensuring they fulfil their promise to plan, communicate and deliver projects of the highest standard with an emphasis on safety, sustainability and quality

Your new role
There are currently several requirements across different locations for Finishing Foreman.
Dublin City Centre / South Dublin / West Dublin & Naas. The projects range from large mixed-use developments to Data Centres / Social Housing & Apartments.
This position can either be paid on an hourly basis or through a direct salary - See details below.

As a Finishing Foreman, you will be required to demonstrate capability and experience in dealing and managing on challenging projects. This position is for ambitious experienced, carpenter/foreman looking to progress their career, you will have excellent communication skills with a proven record working and managing (be it small teams) on projects within the Irish / UK construction industry. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will be supported in your role by other management within the organisation and career progression is very much available. This is a great opportunity to join a well established main contractor with a pipeline of works for the next several years.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you must have previously been within a management position with a construction contractor. This can be as a lead carpenter / working foreman or finishing foreman.
Coming from a Carpentry trade background is sought after, while having a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for management of trades and labour. You must be able to work on your own initiative and have a high respect for on site health & safety. This role will suit a long time carpenter / working foreman or someone experienced in a Foreman / FF position over the last 5+ years.

What you'll get in return
In return for the above, you will work for a construction main contractor who value their employees and offer a clear progression path to more senior management levels. They have a great reputation within the industry and have very strong senior management in place - Delivering high profile projects.
You will be paid either by the hour or on a salary - Depends on your preference. Hourly rates are in a bracket of €26 to €33 Per Hour (typically 50 hour weeks - good money to be made) This would include PAYE OR Self Employed setup. This would also include time and a half etc.
In terms of an offered salary, this would be in the region of €65,000 to €70,000 and would come with a vehicle/travel. Pension etc is also typically offered. It's a great time to join their expanding organisation. There is typically a review after 6 months regarding performance and salaries/rates.
