Your new role
You will be the Financial Controller on location in the top performing hotel in Limerick City. You will lead a small finance team on-site, co-ordinating all finance activities cross-functionally throughout the hotel with other heads of department. As this company operates with a shared service centre model whereby the vast majority of AP/AR processing is conducted off-site, this is essentially a business partnering role where you will be the 'eyes and ears' from a finance perspective and will be very commercially focused. A large part of the role is forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning. Along with the shared services centre, you will also receive support from a network of FC's across the country.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, preferably with 2-3 years experience within hospitality or related fields such as retail, property mgmt, healthcare, construction etc. where fantastic communication skills are an absolute must. You must be collaborative in approach and have an analytical mind as well as being very commercially astute. The company are also looking for a hard working and innovative problem-solver who is not afraid to put ideas into action.
