Financial Controller job - Irish hotel group - €75,000 plus benefits - Hybrid


Your new company
Your new employer is one of the largest operators of hospitality venues across Ireland. A rapidly expanding hotel group who have a number of high-end four and five-star hotels right across the country, with plans for future expansion to further their reach geographically. They are renowned for transforming every hotel they acquire and focus on tailoring a uniquely individual experience based on the hotel's location and designs. Your new role
Your new role is Financial Controller of a major 4-star hotel in Limerick City. You will manage the finance function, co-ordinating activities of the team to ensure all tasks are completed timely and accurately. You will have full responsibility for the month-end accounting process as well as year-end statutory reporting, taxation, liaising with external auditors etc. A major part of the role is liaising with heads of department around the hotel to ensure cost controls are implemented, seeking new efficiencies and process improvements and improving the overall quality of service in the hotel. You will also act as the Assistant Regional FC for the South West within the group structure.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant with 5 years post qualified experience. Hospitality industry is a major advantage but not essential, as well as people management experience. You will demonstrate high attention to detail and commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

Once passed the probation period, there is up to two days working from home. In addition, the company offers flexible start/finish times with the successful candidate being able to start anytime between 8am and 10am.
