Your new company
Your new company is a well-established automotive group in Dublin West. Market leaders in their field with 100+ staff, they are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the finance team and provide insights to Senior Management that will drive the business forward. This is a fully office based role in Dublin West. Initially you will be tasked with increasing efficiency in the finance team and being hands-on in terms of timely and accurate financial reporting, but with time this role has the scope to grow into a more strategic CFO role.

Your new role
Reporting directly to C-Suite, will lead a finance team of 5 in finance taking full responsibility for finance function. Your tasks and duties will include:

• Ongoing development of recently implemented SAP Hanna S4 ERP system and reporting
• Monthly Management Accounts, provision of relevant MI reports
• Preparation of board packs and reports including UK shareholder reporting and ESG reporting
• Effective management of aged debt and timely creditor payments
  • Manage accuracy of stock with stock controller and integrated system
• Payroll for 100 staff
• Manage audit process and liaise with auditors
• Cost Control and Inflation Mgt
• Budgeting incl. annual budget preparation and cashflow forecasting
• Building strong relationships with sales teams, insurance third parties, C-suite, IT and operational staff

What you'll need to succeed

• You must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant
• A strong communicator who is open and honest and confident to challenge current processes and advise on process improvement
• Experience in a Financial Controller role in industry managing a team of people
• Big focus on accurate and timely reporting and increasing efficiency in the finance function
• Experience with SAP S4 Hanna a plus

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded for your hard work with a highly competitive salary of €90,000 - €110,000 depending on experience. Other benefits include pension, bonus, free parking and healthcare is TBC.
