Your new role
You will work as a Financial Analyst in the commercial finance division within the group. The role will be based from the Group's site in Galway. Your primary activities will include cashflows, forecasting, reviewing and analysing trends, budgeting and business partnering with consultants and heads of department across the business in a collaborative fashion to help them improves processes and efficiencies and overall make the service more profitable. This is an excellent role for anyone who enjoys working as part of a cohesive team environment and working with people to achieve results. It also offers any prospective candidate exposure to all elements of the business and is extremely future focused as opposed to a traditional finance role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with preferably 1-2 years industry experience either in healthcare or a related field (this is not essential as they are also open to people coming straight from practice). You will be a strong team player with fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to demonstrate that you have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and have a strong commercial outlook.
What you'll get in return
A competitive market salary up to €60,000 per annum along with a hybrid working option of up to 2 days working from home and flexible start/finish times. Work-life balance is promoted by the company and very rarely will your work exceed 37 hours per week. In addition, there is a pension scheme, full sick cover, full mat leave cover, a very active social club, subsidised food and a loyalty bonus available after 3 years in the role.
