Your new role
Your new role will be apart of the manufacturing accounting team, reporting into a senior management accountant who will also offer you mentorship and professional guidance. You will be largely responsible for the day-day tracking of the manufacturing KPIs, gaining extensive month-end management accounts exposure as well as exposure to elements of manufacturing/cost accounting, FP&A/financial analysis and year-end statutory reporting. Your new role will develop as you gain more responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant and there is a very strong preference for manufacturing experience, either within practice or direct exposure to manufacturing through an industry role. You must be very analytically minded with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and verbal and you must hold the ability to build effective partnerships with team members. This role would suit a newly qualified accountant with 1-2 years PQE who has had some audit/accounts prep exposure in a manufacturing environment.
