Financial Accountant job- Law Firm - €70,000 - Hybrid Job

Your new role
You will join a finance team of 6 and report directly to the financial controller, however you will liaise with the firm's 9 partners and external clients as part of your role too.
Your duties will have a focus on month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as liquidity management and analysis. These tasks will include assisting with monthly management accounts and close processes at month end such as variance analysis, balance sheet recs and preparation of financial reports. You will also prepare year end accounts and oversee the annual audit process.
In terms of budgeting you will assist with preparing annual budgets and monitoring/updating ongoing budgeting and forecasting procedures.
Cashflow and liquidity management will be tasked to you, with ongoing analysis and control required.
Tax reporting, payments and VAT requirements will also be within your remit.
On the client side, adhoc tasks will include monthly reconciliations for clients and analysis of WIP for fee earners, billing and analysis of new client generation/profitability.
The ERP system is Evolve and ongoing process improvement is always welcome in the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant with ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA with at least 3 years' PQE. Experience working in professional services, particularly a law firm, is extremely advantageous as you will have knowledge of WIP and billing procedures. Experience with 3e Evolve also beneficial.
In order to succeed, you must be someone who is looking for a permanent role and wishes to build a career in this finance team. You will have excellent leadership in a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys team development.
