Your new company
My client is a group of well known brands in the entertainment/hospitality/leisure industry. They are a long-established business that has grown significantly in the last decade and continues to expand at a fast pace. With over 120 stores/locations, they run a very active Finance Department of around 12 people in the team. With their expansion and restructure in the team, they are now hiring for a new Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager to join the team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is an exciting time to join this organisation as they expand their team. Your role will be 70% Commercial Accounting and 30% Financial reporting. Duties will include:

• Ensure the timely preparation and presentation of a monthly management accounting pack, for each brand, to the key stakeholders.
• Assisting with training and mentoring the finance team on priorities, deadlines, and outputs.
• Actively involved with the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting.
• Preparing the the annual financial statements for all their entities
• Manage the audit process
• Business partnering
• Compliance with Revenue & HMRC submissions ensuring deadlines are met.
• Manage their Intercompany Matrix and Intercompany accounting.
• Process improvements and systems projects
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will ideally be an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager
• They are happy to consider qualified or QBE candidates.
• You will come from a fast paced SME organisation and have the ability to multitask.
• This role would suit someone who is happy to help out in different areas across the team and is solutions driven.
• You will outgoing, confident with a bubbly personality.
• Experience in leisure, retail or hospitality industry would be a big plus.
• You must have strong attention to detail and be a self starter with a proactive approach.
• Due to the nature of the industry and team, you will be 5 days office based in North Dublin
• You must currently be located in the Dublin region to be considered
