Your new role
This will be a hands on stand alone role which you will manage the A-Z of the finance function.

Your new role
This will be a hands on stand alone role which you will manage the A-Z of the finance function.
Reporting to the MD, your duties will include:
- Preparing accounts and projections for the bank.
- Month end process – journals, recs,
- Preparing quarterly accounts for Management
- Preparing monthly cash flows
- Tax compliance
- Processing invoices
- Reviewing monthly debtor collections with sales reps
- Setting yearly budgets.
- Managing all statutory and revenue forms
- Prepare and present accounts for Auditors.
- Oversee all internal accounting systems and advise on strategy into the future.
- Other Ad hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience in a similar hands on role in an SME organisation.
- You must have experience in industry and an agri/commodity background would be a plus but not needed.
- They are looking for someone who is happy to wear multiple hats, manage the finances as well as drive the business forward and make recommendations on strategy.
- You will have ideally worked in a standalone role before
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy high transaction company
