Diverse financial management role, working in the Charity/NFP sector, for an experienced Qualified Accountant

Do you want to work in the Charity/not-for-profit sector ?

Leading Irish not-for-profit organisation with a national remit require a Qualified Accountant to join their Head Office finance team

Reporting to a Senior Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Finance, you will manage the finance function for two strategic divisions whilst supervising a small team

Working closely with a Business Manager, you will also act as Finance Business Partner

Key tasks will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and variance analysis reports
  • Preparation of annual budget
  • Process improvement & internal controls review
  • General Ledger maintenance
  • Payroll review
  • KPI analysis
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Preparation of schedules for year-end audit
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Supervision of accounts payable & accounts receivable functions

Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with a commercial mindset, not-for-profit/fundraising experience an asset; be someone who is proactive, who can not only manage the finance function but who can contribute to the development of the organisation

Salary: €60K – €65K, depending on experience
