Your new role

You will be joining our client as a Field Services Engineer focusing on work servicing of humidity control equipment throughout targeted markets in the Dublin area. This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer that is S gas registered and has HVAC experience.

Key activities and accountabilities include, to undertake accurate, timely and high-quality servicing for contract maintenance. To accurately identify and replace spares components on customer equipment to improve or restore the performance of the equipment. Make accurate proposal and explanation to customers regarding recommended/critical spares or required refurbishments. To undertake accurate airflow measurements and performance assessments against standard procedures for assessment of unit performance. Matching customer servicing requirements accurately to the scope of works and timescales laid out on a project under the terms of the customer quotation.

Top performers will be able to provide timely and accurate commissioning and setup of the client’s equipment while providing clear technical service reports daily, that are clearly communicated to an Internal After Sales Support team.

A successful candidate will participate positively within the team, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and contributing fully to the overall success of the team. Participating fully in all company training initiatives including self-study, mentoring, on the job training and ensuring that all necessary certification and accreditation are renewed to date, always complies with statutory, company and customer health and safety requirements and site working instructions.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed you will a proven track record in an Engineering role. For a dynamic, self-driven person who is enthusiastic and willing to learn in a forward-thinking atmosphere, this is an amazing opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of engineering capital equipment. Being computer literate with knowledge of the HVAC industry is a must. The post holder should have experience of generating accurate assessments of electrical and mechanical component fault diagnosis on engineered capital equipment and prepare clear quantification of size and impact of failure to effect remedial action.

The successful candidate should be able to Demonstrate knowledge and experience of calculating airflow and moisture content measurements. HNC/HND or higher in a relevant Engineering qualification. Key competencies include a positive attitude, strong initiative and ability to work independently, good communication skills, performing well under pressure, time management and organisational skills, problem solving skills, and adaptability.
