Operating since 2008 from Dundalk, your new company design, produces and tests high quality multipurpose tractors. The company strives to perfect their expanding range, growing all the time and from the top of the business the enthusiasm and drive of the people there is evident. Their products can be seen all over the world, in airports, local authorities and contractors.
They have built a team of the innovative and experienced engineers who strive for improvement every day and are dedicated to driving exceptional products through R&D and innovation.
They are now looking for field service technicians to join their team. This role is part of the sales team, and you will be the face of the company for their dealers, and an important link between the USA and Ireland.
You will be primarily based in the USA, particularly the East Coast, supporting customers there and expanding the company client base.

Your new role
As a field service technician with this company, you will be the contact person for local dealers and customers, providing technical coaching and training on site. You will also travel to the USA, to do the same. Key responsibilities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting and rectifying issues related to equipment and attachments and responding quickly to customer problems and technical questions whilst building positive relationship with customers and managing onsite handovers, installations, repair, and maintenance tasks. You will also produce reports of customers serviced each day and communicate effectively with the technical team at HQ to solve any problems as quick as possible as and carry out equipment demonstration for potential companies and always follow company procedures and protocols.

What you'll need to succeed
A mechanical or technical qualification is preferable however candidates with proven field service experience would also be considered. Mechanical aptitude is a key part of this role and the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment and vehicles. Knowledge of electronic and hydraulic systems, machinery and sales is desirable. Other key skills include the ability to work independently, problem solving skills and communication skills and flexibility. You must be willing to travel in this role, to the USA.
