The role offers the Facilities Management Consultant the opportunity to work on projects which generally fall under the following five pillars:

Your responsibilities
- Work under limited supervision, referring up as necessary, within a defined area of responsibility on asset & operations projects.
- Checking the quality and accuracy of own and others work including assisting with the development of others through providing guidance, training and feedback.
- Representing your team or group at external meetings and you may be involved in developing events, activities and internal projects of some complexity.
- Have regular client interaction beginning with understanding their scope, development of the project and then full implementation.
Work in a team environment and be involved with the following:
- Development of policies and strategies in relation to asset management and facilities management.
- Strategic Sourcing of Hard and Soft Services, including the mobilisation, operational monitoring and optimisation of contracts.
- Budget planning including assessment of asset portfolios and development of Capex and Opex budgets.
- Development of Asset Information Strategies and determining the appropriate use of technology.
- Supporting clients to meet their Statutory & Regulatory Compliance obligations.
- Assisting clients to ensure that their assets are reliable, and that appropriate business continuity and care plans are in place.
Your Education/Profile
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant Bachelors (Hons) Science Technology, Engineering or Mathematic (STEM) degree or similar area
- A minimum 4 years asset management, facilities management, project management or related experience
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
- Positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
Preferred Education / Attributes
Education
- Property & Facilities Management – Level 7-8, accredited.
- Facility Engineering – Level 8 accredited by Engineers Ireland
- Facilities Management - Level 5-8 accredited IWFM
- Certificate / Diploma in Asset Management accredited by the Institute of Asset Management
- Certificate in Facility Management / Certified Facility Manager accredited by IWFM
- Membership of relevant professional body such as IWFM, IFMA, Engineers Ireland, CIBSE, CIOB, or equivalent.
