Your new company is a global leader in the space of the manufacture and supply of Distribution Transformer products based in Cavan Town. It is a privately owned enterprise which has enjoyed substantial double-digit growth in recent years, the company has grown through major expansions to become a market leader in the manufacture of bespoke, quality solutions for the electrical industry. They produce and supply a large range of products and services from its 17,500sqm manufacturing facility, which has the capacity to manufacturing 6,500MVA annually.
Led by a world-class leadership team, having recently fitted the plant with over €7M in new cutting technology, robotic welding and state of the art winding machines and they are now looking for a production electrician to join their team.
Your new role
They are currently recruiting for Production Electrician’s that will help the company on its growth trajectory, adding expertise, creativity, and new perspective to the ways of work. You will be working in their test bay facility which tests their products before they go to clients. You will work within the day-to-day production process of the factory. The role will operate on shift rotation (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
An Electrical Trade Qualification is required with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Normal eyesight and colour vision are essential.
You must be safety conscious and able to work at heights.
Experience of electrical cable joint and terminations, fault finding and a proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair is desired as well as the ability to test & fault find.
Other desirable skills include strong communication skills, the ability to works well on your own initiative, and a proactive attitude.

A competitive salary of €47,941 which increases each year, this is paid weekly at a rate of €23.05 ph and the chance to work with an internationally recognised company.
