Electrical Project Manager - Hourly Rate - Data Centre Project

Your new company
Your new company is one of the leading electrical engineering and contracting companies in Ireland. Working across many sectors, including Data, Commercial, Conservation, and Education, they are renowned for their specialist expertise. They have significant experience in delivering large and varied projects from design and build to installations, fit-out, testing, maintenance, responsive and emergency call-out work.

Your new role
In your new position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of onsite operations and productivity, including company workers, subcontractors, and all staff on-site for the project.
They have a number of ongoing projects across Dublin. These are fast-paced environments, and you will play a vital part in the smooth-running of the project.
Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

What you need to succeed
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Trade qualified or construction-related qualification
  • 2+ years' experience on a large-scale project as an Electrical Project Manager or other supervisory role
  • Strong organisation and management skills
  • Ability to manage time, drive productivity and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Interpersonal skills with willingness to work independently and as part of a wider site team

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate between €35 to €45 per hour. These are typically paid for 40 hours per week, and you will be paid for any overtime hours worked. This comes out to approximately 70k to 90k when converted to an annual salary.
This is open to PAYE and Self-employed workers. It's a great time to join their expanding organisation as you will have great exposure to multi-million-euro projects and grow within to progress to more senior roles.
