Divisional Manager - Global Life Sciences & Food and Talent Transformation & Innovation Division | IDA Ireland

IDA Ireland partners with multinational companies to win and develop foreign direct investment (FDI), providing jobs, economic impact and opportunity for the people of Ireland. For over 70 years, IDA Ireland has been engaging at the highest levels with some of the most innovative companies in the world and working alongside them to embed and grow their activities in Ireland in an intensely competitive FDI environment.

In IDA Ireland, we have a passion for achievement and performance - we set and achieve ambitious goals in the globally competitive and dynamic arena of FDI. Public service is important to us, we take pride in delivering jobs and investments and we collaborate with other public bodies to deliver our mission and contribute to theirs. We are dedicated to understanding the needs of leading-edge clients and then delivering timely, commercial and innovative solutions. We act on the basis of integrity, trust, respect, fair treatment and responsiveness.

IDA Ireland is now recruiting for the position of Divisional Manager to lead its Global Life Sciences & Food and Talent Transformation & Innovation Division. Life Sciences Division is responsible for growing the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Devices and Diagnostics sectors while Talent Transformation & Innovation Division is charged with assisting FDI companies to build innovation capacity, enable business transformation, and drive talent development. The post holder will be a member of IDA Ireland’s Executive Leadership Team and, as such, will actively contribute to the wider organisational change agenda, driving collaboration and transformation, including digitalisation and a move to a sustainable economy.

Applicants will be experienced senior business leaders with an in-depth understanding of global business and how Ireland’s FDI offerings align with corporate business goals and objectives. Familiarity with Government and public sector organisations and their role would be an advantage. The position will involve extensive domestic and international travel and commitment to work outside standard hours.
