Who will you be working for?

You will be working for a multinational, Fortune 500 professional services company based in Dublin city centre. The organisation specialises in information technology services and consulting. You will be working as for the organisations end-user client which is also based in Dublin city centre. This role is fully onsite, and is an initial 23 month contract with the scope for extension.

What will you be working on?

You will be a leading and senior member of an important modern engineering project, working as the Container Lead. You will be expected to provide thought and technical leadership towards the architectural designs of OpenShift based Kubernetes clusters and their associated server and network infrastructures, ensuring architectural designs meet non-functional requirements such as high availability and disaster recovery. Along with this, you will design and develop CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, and provide technical guidance and supervision to members of the Modern Engineering Platform team. Additionally, you will implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices Maintain and optimize container orchestration and deployment processes.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with minimum 5 years experience of operating Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including ACM/ACS/Quay. You must have proven expertise with CI/CD tooling: Git, Helm, ArgoCD, Sonarqube, Azure DevOps Services to name a few. Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions is well sought after for this position along with monitoring and logging tools, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack. If you are a certified Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes Certified Administrator, it is highly preferred.
