With a turnover of €200m and a staff of over 1200 between Ireland and the UK, they are a Global player in the Specialist Plastic products market for several sectors, namely Construction & Fabrication. With their operations in the UK and Europe, this company is a professional, excellent partner for distributors, customers and end users.
Since Covid hit, they capitalised on the unprecedented demand for plastics/sheeting in the industry and had their most profitable year to date. With that set to continue, this company is on an exciting upward trajectory.
Your new role
The role for a Construction Sales Manager will cover the East coast of Ireland territory and report into the National Sales Director. Your target clients will be Housing Developers and Main Building Contractors. You must develop a close working relationship with the Builders Merchants who specialise on Civils Contractors and be involved from tender stage through to order.
They are looking for an accomplished and professional Sales and Relationship Manager with a passion for developing and maintaining long term relationships with key clients, whilst representing an extremely reputable brand in the industry. You will be covering your own territory from Dublin, Dundalk down to the Sunny South East and targeting the main Residential Developers and Merchants. You must be versed in dealing with Site visits and selling to the Top Property Developer's in the country.
Knowledge of the industry would be a bonus, but developing key relationships and delivering the company’s values, of Integrity, Trust & Efficiency.
What you need to succeed
You will be a proven experienced Business Development Manager/CRM, ideally from a similar background, or from a company dealing in the Construction industry. You must have at least 5 years’ experience in a target driven role and demonstrate resilience, and motivation. You also must be able to understand and interpret Site Drawings, Regulations to advise which of the client’s products are most suitable for the application.
