Compliance Reporting Specialist – Semi-State | Dublin City/Hybrid | 12-18 months | €55,937 – €69,921


Your new company
As Compliance Reporting Specialist you will join a leading Irish semi-state utility company who are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of utilities across Ireland. Your new office in conveniently located in Dublin City and is accessible via public transport, your team are offering a hybrid working model. Your new company require you to join their team for at least on a specific purpose contract for at least 12-18 months.

Your new role
As Compliance Reporting Specialist you will report to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, responsible for developing accurate and timely compliance reporting to the CRU to fulfil regularity requirements.

Your duties will include developing and implementing reporting processes and standards to enable your new company to comply with all CRU requirements, coordinating agreed regulatory reports, delivering high quality regulatory reports, ensuring appropriate governance and approval processes are followed prior to submission/presentation to the CRU, ensuring complete administrative records are maintained for all regulatory reporting to the CRU, working with relevant teams to resolve any identified issues in relation to regulatory metrics, escalating to the Regulatory Management team, carrying out monitoring of regulatory reporting compliance, working with the wider Regulatory Team to deliver the annual workplan and all general administrative and ad-hoc duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have 5 years relevant experience in a similar role such as utility regulation, compliance, or business reporting, a relevant third level degree is required. Working knowledge of the regulatory framework for utility businesses and the desire to stay current on developments and industry practices along with experience of reporting in a regulated environment is required. Excellent ability to analyse and reconcile key regulatory metrics; generate sufficiently detailed reporting; evaluate results; identify potential exposures and gaps; assess relevant trends; and summarise conclusions; the ability to identify issues and mitigate risks is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are essential as you will be communicating with a vast range of stakeholders both internal and external. A keen for detail and team working skills are necessary.
