Commercial Finance Manager, Business Partnering - Hybrid - €72-85k package
Your new company
A multinational organisation in the facilities' management industry that is listed on the stock exchange. Offering a number of different service lines, this role will be focused on contracts associated with food service lines and catering to specific industries. After winning new contracts, the company have a need for a new Commercial Finance Manager based out of the Dublin office on a hybrid basis, with occasional site visits. They offer great flexibility with hybrid working, 1–2 days in the office a week, and have an extensive benefits package, bringing the overall package to €80-90k per annum.
The Irish business has approx €160million turnover while the contracts you will be looking after total approx €24million in revenue.

Your new role
This is a commercially focused Finance Manager role, reporting directly into the Head of Finance and joining a UK&I team of 5 overall (SSC and larger finance function in locations across Europe). You will be responsible for contracts in a specific industry, approx €24 million in turnover and a key aspect of your role will be business partnering with the Divisional Director, Account Managers and Site Managers on these contracts.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare the annual budgeting and maintain a robust quarterly forecasting process
- Deliver monthly financial results with detailed variance analysis
- Review/analyse and challenge site performance, providing commentary prior to declaration of financial results and advising on how to drive growth/improve profit
- Work with the operational teams to analyse performance trends and advise on how these insights can be used to make a true impact on the business and increase profitability, driving agreed action plans
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure WIP reporting and contract/project activity are represented accurately
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on quarterly contract reviews, contract renewals and proposals
- Assist with acquiring capital investment and carry out post-investment reviews
- Delivering a strong management review and control process with the AD, AM and senior site management.
- Ensure financial control environment is properly implemented, especially around cash, stock and cost control in units.
- Business partner with ops teams and account directors to identify future challenges in terms of mobilisations, retention activity, change controls, and seasonal trading patterns
- Build out and develop enhanced KPI reporting templates
- Prepare powerpoints and present to senior management/ leadership teams on business performance
- Manage risks around legislative change and work with colleagues to ensure profitability is maximised
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to be a fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA with big 4 training, however ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified candidates are also encourage to apply.
- Ideal profile willl be Irish practice trained with 2-3 years' PQE in industry, facilities management industry extremely advantageous
- You must have commercial experience - business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, identifying trends, business performance analysis, present to senior stakeholders. This role really needs someone who can under the bonnet of the business is performing and make sure those insights are used to improve the business, the business partnering element is crucial to influence relevant stakeholders
- SAP and PowerBI are advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a package of €72-85k (this is comprised of base salary, flexible monetary benefits package and a 10% bonus), pension of 6% matched contribution and 25 days annual leave. Hybrid working is flexible with 1–2 days on site/in office and 3–4 days working from home.
Parking is not available but the luas stop is 50m from the door and a car allowance is included in your benefits package.
