Category Manager - Semi State Body - up to €65,000 DOE

We are currently working with a Semi State body on an exciting new opportunity for an experienced category manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Your new role
n this role you will support the Commercial management team in leading the development, execution and ongoing management of effective procurement strategies relating to service performance, quality, cost, innovation, sustainability and governance.
Reporting either through the Senior Procurement Category Manager to the Head of Commercial Management, or directly to the Head of Commercial Management, the Procurement Category Manager will work alongside a team of professionals to provide procurement expertise to stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced procurement professional with at least 3 years experience in a procurement role within the public sector. You will have a strong working knowledge of OJEU directives and have the ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of a business. You will have a working knowledge of purchasing tools, platforms and processes and ideally have a relevant qualification.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a salary that is based on your experience up to €65,000 with a performance bonus of up to 12%, an excellent pension contribution, a hybrid model of work & a fully subsidised canteen on offer in this role.
