Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client, a leading semi state company based in Cork.

As a BD Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development of new business opportunities and partnerships for projects ensuring that client has maximum market exposure along with ensuring our clients and partners receive a high-quality service. Using the benefit of working for end users as well as Main Contractors means that you have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your clients, and own any bids through to the project being secured. This role allows you the opportunity to work with high profile clients, build out our customer base and make it your own as you will be involved in the early development stage of projects both from a sales and engineering perspective.

Some of your role will involve:

• Provide Technical advice to clients (Design, products, pricing)
• Assist in the engineering of technical solutions to overcome potential issues
• Manage Project Handovers to operations to ensure seamless transition from award to delivery
• Proactively contribute to the development of the commercial team and Business strategy
• Ensure bespoke contract negotiations on terms and conditions are concluded successfully
• Understand and Provide feedback on market trends
• Follow up on new leads and referrals
• Liaise with Supply partners and equipment manufacturers to keep up to date with the latest market trends and product offerings
