Your new role
Due to increased growth they are now seeking to recruit a Building Services / Mechanical Engineer where you will work with a multi-functional team in delivering projects to quality, on time and to budget. As Mechanical Engineer you will work on exciting construction projects. The activities associated with the project will vary and will be agreed with the Project Manager on an ongoing basis. You will coordinate the technical design with the on site installation through to the successful commissioning.

- Ensuring that technical issues are resolved without delay.
- Process internal procurement from equipment enquiries through requisitioning & monitoring manufacture through to delivery to site whilst maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
- Attend & record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored & maintained within the overall construction programme.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements & all aspects relating to Health & Safety on site.
- Liaise with the design team & supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site & successful handover.
- Monitor & record progress on site against the construction programme.
- Ensure that the preparation of technical submittals and RFI’s and documented in a timely manner
What you'll need to succeed
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 2+ Years’ Experience
- Previous Contracting Experience
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
