Your new role
In your new role as an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be responsible for managing all collections, invoicing, reconciliations, and queries for a group of their specific customers. You will be responsible for collecting amounts due to ensure receivables balances are managed and paid, as well as identifying and seek solutions for any issues and communicating and escalating where necessary, maintaining daily multiple bank accounts and performing all related tasks such as allocating payments and receipts across multiple currencies and assisting the team for month-end, taking responsibility for assigned month-end reports as well as preparation to customer, ledger and bank reconciliations to strict month-end close deadlines. In addition, you will assist with other monthly reports and ad hoc duties as required by SVP Finance Operations.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will ideally have 1-2 years’ experience working in an Accounts Receivable role within a fast-paced organisation. If you have experience working in the aviation industry and if you have experience working with an ERP system, then that would be advantageous to your application. In addition, the successful individual will need to have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritise their workload and manage multiple queries simultaneously.
