Accounts Payable job with a Government body based in the city working on a hybrid model 1-2 days in the office

Your new company
A well established government funded independent authority.

Your new role
Working within the Accounts Payable section processing invoices, resolving queries with invoices etc. and generating vendor payments.

  • Invoice processing and matching. This includes ensuring Purchase Order (PO) is in place, correct approval procedure is followed and all other internal controls are adhered to.
  • Processing a weekly payment run. Ensuring all approved invoices are paid promptly.
  • Credit card reconciliation and recording of spend on finance system. Ensuring all receipts are received and checked. Ensure approvals are in line with internal audit recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed
One years’ experience of working in an accounts payable or business office environment
