Your new role

In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and credit card transactions using Xero, and handle credit control. You will be responsible for posting financial transactions accurately and responding to general finance-related email queries. The position involves maintaining relationships with approximately 300 customers and 80 suppliers, with around 30 suppliers active on a monthly rotating basis. You will also manage direct debit collections through GoCardless, which integrates with Xero, and work with our Halo CRM, also integrated with Xero, to support financial workflows. Additionally, you will assist with billing-related administration, including audits and checks, particularly around our specific billing runs managed by the Senior Finance Executive. This is a temporary contract for 6-8 weeks, with working hours of 9am-5:30pm.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for someone with experience using Xero and a solid understanding of accounts administration. Familiarity with GoCardless and CRM systems, particularly Halo, is advantageous. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
