Founded over 70 years ago, your new employer is an innovative worldwide designer and manufacturer of precision control systems with over 130 employees. The company is looking to add a Production Planner to their Cork branch. The role has come about through growth and planning for succession.

Your new role
As Production Planner you will be part of the supply chain team and will report to the operations manager. In your new role you will be involved in onsite purchasing, inventory and logistics. You will be responsible for for all activities involved in the management and planning of production build schedule and maintenance in ERP through to final completion of work orders. In your new role you will have daily interface with production supervisors, buyers, customer service team, demand planner as well as the Program leaders.

What you'll need to succeed
You have 3+ years experience in a planner role preferably within the Electronics and/or Medical Devices industries. A Third level qualification, OR CIPS Qualification. You will have a strong understanding of material purchasing, material planning and inventory management practices. IT Savvy and experience with SAP

What you'll get in return
In your new role you will receive and competitive salary, 27 days annual leave with the option of an extra 3 days and flexible working hours including: a hybrid work model where you would work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. A compressed working week (4 day work week) is being trial tested in the coming months.
You will avail of a profit sharing scheme, educational assistance in where part of all fees will be covered by the company and a pension scheme in which your employer will contribute 6% and you contribute 5% of annual salary.
