Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, strategy and planning across the organisation. Reporting to the Tax Manager in a 6-strong Tax team, you will also have responsibility for promoting increased awareness of taxation risks and opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be Tax Qualified and ideally be a qualified accountant.
5+ years with exposure to areas of taxation including RCT, VAT, WHT, PSWT, PAYE, LPT, Corporation & Deferred Tax.

Salary on this is from €61,531 - €92,296, its normally offered at the mid-point of the scale, so it lands around €75,000. But there is always flexibility depending on your experience. Flexible hours, a 35-hour working week, 24-day holidays plus 2 company days and many more benefits.

Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, strategy and planning across the organisation. Reporting to the Tax Manager in a 6-strong Tax team, you will also have responsibility for promoting increased awareness of taxation risks and opportunities.
- Implement a robust, structured tax process with appropriate financial controls to ensure tax compliance with applicable laws.
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computation and return to meet Revenue Commissioner deadlines.
- Engage with external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally.
- Promote an increased awareness of taxation risks, threats and opportunities.
- Identify key taxation issues that arise within the organisation and work with the Tax Manager to ensure appropriate actions are taken or controls are in place to minimise taxation exposures / risks and maximise returns.
- Preparation and review as required of current, deferred and cash tax projections for monthly reporting, forecasts, budgets and business plans.
- Provide appropriate support / advisory / training to the business on tax-related matters, including advising on the tax implications of all contractual positions, researching and resolving technical queries from the business, carrying out periodic reviews, and advising of any updates on new tax legislation.
- Provide advice on a wide range of projects and planning opportunities in consultation with the Tax Manager to optimise the tax position.
- Preparation of the current and deferred tax provisions and cash tax movements for inclusion in statutory reporting and provide tax audit support to the wider Finance organisation.
