A leading Irish main contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its Cork-based team. With a strong pipeline of large-scale construction projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor known for delivering high-quality developments across Ireland.

Your new role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account. You will work closely with project and site teams, managing subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, cost reporting and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Subcontractor procurement and package management
• Tender analysis and contract administration
• Monthly cost reporting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Valuations, variations and change management
• Cost control and value engineering
• Management of subcontractor accounts and final accounts
• Liaising with project managers, design teams and subcontractors

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 5+ years' experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Experience working on construction projects valued at €10m+
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
