Site Foreman required in the west & midlands for large civil construction projects.
Your new company
Our client is a leading main contractor that currently has an opportunity for a Civil Site Foreman for large civils construction projects based in the west & midlands. Immediate opportunity to work in either the Mayo or Roscommon areas on large civils works. Experience of various civils works would be a benefit (roads, pipelines, bridges and other civils works).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Management of subcontractors, labourers and on-site staff
- Management and control of health and safety issues
- Understand quality requirements from specs and drawings and ensure compliance with both
- Implementation of Daily and Weekly Programmes
- Maintaining the Site Diary - recording workforce levels for each subcontractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
- Responsible for the day-to-day managing of the site.
Criteria
- 8–10 years experience in construction in Ireland or the UK on large civil / building projects.
- Experience working on various civils projects in the past
- Able to work within a team
- Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative
- Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
- Proven record of seeing projects from beginning to completion
