Your new company
You will work with a fast-growing Irish company that has established itself as a leader within its industry and whose clients include the world's most recognisable organisations.

Your new role
This is a senior, hands-on finance leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will take ownership of finance operations across a multi-entity group, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and clear commercial visibility across projects and business units.
This is not a purely transactional role — it is ideal for someone who wants to influence decision-making, improve systems, and play a key part in the growth of a dynamic engineering business.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts across all group entities
  • Produce consolidated group reporting
  • Manage general ledger integrity and chart of accounts structure
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and accruals/prepayments
  • Produce variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Cashflow & Working Capital Management
  • Produce and maintain rolling 13-week cashflow forecasts
  • Manage working capital requirements
  • Improve debtor collection performance
  • Control supplier payment scheduling
  • Assist with banking relationships and lender reporting
  • Monitor covenant compliance where applicable
  • Implement project cost tracking systems
  • Build annual operating budgets
  • Develop monthly rolling forecasts
  • Maintain integrity of Sage 50 accounting system
  • Coordinate VAT, payroll and statutory compliance across jurisdictions

What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial control or finance management
  • Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or project-based industries would be beneficial
  • Strong Sage 50 experience
  • Strong cashflow forecasting experience
  • Experience producing management accounts
  • Experience managing project profitability reporting
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Strong commercial awareness
