Business Development Manager: Job Details
Business Development Manager required by multinational Facility Management Company+ Commission Hays Construction & Property, on behalf of our client, have new position for an experienced Business Development Manager, who has gained previous experience within the out-sourced Facility Management industry (either single or bundled service offerings).
Reporting to the Regional BD Manager, the main purpose of this role is to monitor performance against agreed targets and find ways of working effectively internally and externally to achieve sales targets across the complete range of services offerings.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a thorough knowledge of the outsourced Facility Management industry in Ireland
- Be self-motivated and proactive in their approach
- Have market knowledge of the market an the tendering process
- Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role within FM.
Some of the responsibilities included in this role are:
- Generate and follow up quality sales leads - qualify leads, make initial contact to potential customers, cross sell and up-sell services and conduct a pre-tender walk around.
- Compile tenders, deliver presentations to new clients
- Self-management - agree personal plan, set an effective weekly plan, maintain accurate records, and assist other colleagues when required
- Present proposals and quotations for potential customers - prepare structured presentations to potential customers, deliver presentations, prepare quotations and proposals
