Financial Accountant / Finance Analyst: Job Details
Newly Qualified/Qualified Accountant required to become key member of Financial Analyst & Financial Accounting team, reporting to the Financial Controller and responsible for full financial accounting and preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounting and regulatory reporting. You will possess previous experience in a Big 4 firm, Multi-National or Financial Services business and be keen to secure a progressive role.
Duties & Responsibilities include;
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations, in accordance with both local and US GAAP
- Journal preparation and posting into both the Sub Ledger and Financial System
- Investigation & closure of open reconciliation items; investigate issues thoroughly to determine root causes and escalation to Management
- Preparation of the Quarterly Corporate Reporting requirements
- Update the reporting system with monthly data or as required
- Project work – assist with inhouse projects – Mortgage Portfolio Migration/Reserves consistency project
- Provide support to Assistant Controllers and Financial Controller on an ad hoc basis.
