Job Title:
Controllership Analyst (France/ Belgium)

Responsibilities:
Support the General Ledger process, reconciliation, liaison and management of the accounting entries for Payroll.
Monthly Payroll process, including upload, analysis, bonus and reconciliation
Month End Process & Reporting including commentary of P&L, Balance sheet and variance
Account reconciliations and analysis for USGAAP & statutory
Prepare document for Auditor at year end, statutory accounting to predefined PBC (prepare by client) deliverables.
Fixed Asset
SOX control
Ad-hoc reporting & query handling
Liaise with customers, colleagues and cross-firm building relationships and partnerships
Communicate and display understanding of principles and policies regarding controllership
Skills:
Fluency in French and English
Thorough knowledge of Accounting Principles (incl. US-GAAP)
Strong analytical and computer skills (MS Office)
Sense of responsibility, initiative and high quality work standards
Positive attitude and strong team working skills
Customer focused
Qualifications/Experience:
Knowledge of French/Belgium accountancy
Degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification would be preferable. Relevant experience can supersede degree requirements.
Min. 2+ years experience in an accounting environment.
Undertaking professional examinations, e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA.
Experience of Accounting Systems. Knowledge of SAP an advantage
